We aim to make life at St Brelades and The Cumberland as varied and fulfilling as possible for our extended family of residents, who enjoy film nights, singing in our choir and musical afternoons with visiting musicians; whilst visits to our in-house hairdresser offer a chance for a little pampering.
Our Activities Co-ordinators organise weekly schedules of activities, outings and events for residents – and family and friends are often invited and encouraged to join in.
From arts and crafts to baking, chair yoga and exercise session to trips to the local theatre, there’s always something going on. But with several lounges and a spacious room, our residents are also able to find a quiet corner to read, watch television or spend time with their visitors if they prefer.
Spiritual needs are also catered for, with regular services for a range of faiths. We can arrange for religious representatives to visit, and, where possible, for residents to attend their own place of worship.
Family, friends and loved ones – including pets – are welcome to visit at any time; we will always make you welcome.
